Fitness Centers offer companionship and support

Fitness Centers exist all over the world and offer so many features. The focus here will be three of the better known centers, Curves, Healthy Inspirations, and Bally’s. Each of these fitness centers offer education and support.

Curves are fitness centers for women that provide a 30-minute circuit exercise program. There is a combination of exercise machines including elliptical machines, aerobic boards, and steps. The workout is varied by changing the machines around, and altering the directions in the program tapes. The work out is generally upbeat and is very fast moving. Curves have nutritional support and weight loss guidance. The only drawback is that some Curves centers are only open at certain times during the day making it difficult for some people to take advantage of their program.

Healthy Inspirations, fitness centers for women offer its members the circuit exercise routine similar to that of Curves. You are encouraged to use all the machines however if there are some that cause you difficulty your workout can be designed around that. Each month the machines are moved around and the program tapes are switched to provide members with the best workout and to prevent boredom. Once you do the complete circuit you can, if space allows, go and use the machines that you prefer. Some centers say once around the circuit and you are done. Healthy Inspirations also encourages the weekly use of a Shiatsu massage chair to reduce stress. Food plans are fit to the individual taking into account medical needs. It is a progressive program with support throughout. It is a very positive program. The program does give sore muscles; it does provide aerobic and anaerobic exercises with a full body workout. Healthy Inspirations also has supplements that are recommended but not required.

Bally’s fitness center has four food plans 1200, 1500, 2000, and 2500 calorie plans for weight loss. If your goal is muscle development there are two plans, 2000 calorie and 2500 calorie plans.
