Fitness products abound for those who are in to exercising

Fitness products for personal use include individual weights, exercise clothing and shoes, supplements, mats, and video programs such as Richard Simmons ‘Sweatin’ to the Oldies or Tone and Sweat videos. Denise Austin and others have video programs and equipment for home personal use such as the BodyFlex bar, Pilates, Yoga, and stair stepping. There are also home walking workouts and pedometers. Other personal fitness equipment includes personal heart rate monitors and body fat monitors.

General fitness products include exercise bikes, both recumbent and upright, treadmills, elliptical trainers, weight benches including incline and decline. Kickboxing such as Tae Bo, home gyms and rowing machines are also fitness programs. Exercising on these machines do provide a variety of benefits to the user.

Fitness products can be found almost anywhere and they can be non-traditional equipment such as holding on to the back of a chair while you do leg exercises. Do you have stairs in your home? It doesn’t matter how many you really only need one or two and you have a stair stepper. If there’s a banister to hold on you will have greater support. You don’t have weights? If you have two five pound bags of sugar you can do weight exercises with them. If you live near a beach and can get two 1-liter Coco-Cola bottles, fill them with sand and there you have two weights that fit the contour of your hands. So you see there really is no excuse for you to not be exercising.
